Sean has entered his Senior year and of course it would not be complete without a concussion sustained in wrestling. There is a new protocol for concussions which require a health plan before returning to school. The headaches have been so intense after doing homework that has missed quite a few days of school
Above is our family picture, but like all pictures it is a year old. The one thing I have learned is that when you have the opportunity to take a family picture you do it.
Its snowing once again, as the storm missess the New Jersey Superbowl by one day. The kids are once again spending the day catching up on their sleep, and assignments.

Broken Leg
The highlight of the last two weeks, if you could call it a highlight. Sean got tackled in a football game and broke his leg, he had to have 3 screws put in his leg. So we spent two weeks going to Dr's and no school. He is finally back in school, but still no seminary. Its amazing how quickly life can change in an instant we get moving on and then something happens, Wow course change.
Derek is doing well, but his body is falling apart.

Fall
The kids are back in school, and sports, gymnastics etc have started. I always dread the starting of school, but once we get into the routine its nice to be able to get other things done.
Heather came and we spent a day in NYC, I have never been to so many stores in NYC, it was a total girls day. We were wiped by the time we finally made it home.
We went to see the Nate Berkus show, we had to be to the CBS studios at 8am, it was fun, but we saw a side of Nate that was a little diva. Live and learn. I don't live in his life so it is hard to say more.

We are going to see Wicked
I am really excited Heather and I are going to see Wicked on Broadway, hopefully I will be able to upload a few pictures in Times Square.
We have a soccer game on Saturday, for practice we worked on dribbling the ball up, and kicking it as hard as we can. We also worked on staying in position. Its a lot of pressure to coach.
I have been steadily working at Macy's, I like that I can say when I can work. This way I don't have to work on Sundays.

Beautiful Saturday
The weather was perfect on Saturday. We went to Seans first freshman football game. Kelsey had her first soccer game, the kids did really well. We scored 4 goals, with two assists. Yeah. I had the kids high five the team member that helped them score. Heather is coming in two weeks, totally pshyched we should have a lot of fun.

HOT,
For being September it was almost 90 degress. To bad the pool is closed. We all know how much I enjoy swimming. Today is the first day of class for me, it is back to the grind. I enjoy going to school, it just adds pressure to be young and carefree again. It is definetly harder with all of the other responsibilities that I have.
The kids have tommorow off for Roshoshana, they have a 3 day week again. We just get the routine down and they have a day off. Tommorow is soccer practice, we are still looking for a name for our team, the kids cannot agree.

Labor Day
It is hard to believe that summer is over, ugh. No more swimming and reading by the pool. Its time to get back into the swing of school, housework, laundry and work. Its a beautiful sabbath day, getting ready to write a nice letter to my Derek.
Yesterday we finally took the kids to the new minature golf place that looks like a castle. It was so much fun. Guess who won. ME, ME Me I beat Sean a Mike I know it sounds like I am gloating, but they always rub it into my face.
