New Job

Well I am working at Macy's as a recruiter, I am having a lot of fun. I have met a lot of fun people. I spend a lot of time on my feet so I wear really comfortable shoes. Mike is Atlantic City for the School Board convention. We are also working a lot on wedding plans. Kelsey is playing soccer and Sean is playing football.

End of Summer

We had a busy summer and the kids are all finally in school except Rachel who is off a semester working at Applebee's. We spent Labor Day weekend at Hershy Park. It was really hot and the lines for the water rides were extremly long. We had a good time. I took Derek out to BYU Idaho and spent a week with Rachel. we went dress shopping and spent a little time together. Everyone is in school and doing well, we are getting ready for school pictures. Sean is loving football he is an offensive slot receiver and defensive cornerback. The big news was that kelsey fell off the monkey bars and broker her arm. She has a pink cast. Kelsey also started soccer she has pink socks and pink cleats. Yes they make pink cleats. If you haven't guessed yet she loves pink. Pink I think is her favorite color.

School Days

Of to College Derek goes, we leave on September 3, the first day of kindergarten for Kelsey. We will put her on the bus and Dad will get her off. I knew this day would come but I didn't realize how fast it would come. Off to BYUI.

Rachel and Zac

Congratulations to Rachel and Zac. They are engaged! The Tenative date is December 20, 2008 in the Boise Temple. This is tenative so keep checking the blog spot for more details.

Pink Cast

While at football on Wednesday, Kelsey fell off the Monkey Bars and broke her arm. Ouch ! After much debate between Michael and I. I decided she needed to see a Docter so we thought are best bet was to go to Hackettstown Hospital since it was the closest. Sure enough she had broken it. I knew something was wrong when she kept crying and would not get off Mikes lap.

My family

My greatest treasure are my children. I miss them as they have grown up. It feels like it went so fast. I remember the the first day I brought Rachel home from the hospital, I ran to the pharmacy to get a perscription and a man said enjoy it it will go really quick. The first few years were tough with two little children but then it moved so fast I just wanted time to stand still for a little while. I am excited for them as they move on but I miss them. I still have two children at home but I love spending time with all of them. Kelsey is starting kindergarten and Derek is starting his first sememster of college. Wow

Mama Mia

My favorite movie this summer was Mama Mia. It was a totally feel good movie, althought my sister may disagree she was texting (I know no texting during the movie) that it was retarded. Yes it was a little difficult to see Meryl Streep roll around on the floor and Pierce Brosnon sing. He can't sing. But the music and the scenery took me away. I even saw the movie twice. It was a lot of fun. Maybe we could run away to a Greek Island. I am ready for a new start. If I could ditch the old and start all over I would run away onto an island.

Kelseys first time up on the empire state building. She had so much fun going up there with mom, rachel and zack when they came to visit for a trip. The new york trip was fun, but kelsey had a blast looking up at all of new york city!

We love the summer and swimming. We recently got back from Texas we decided one day to drive we took 3 days to do the 22 hours. It was a lot of fun. We spent time with family in Paris Texas and Frisco Texas. We drove by Graceland and ended our 3 week trip with a weekend playing in the Ocean. We love the water. We stayed at Ballys in Atlantic City. We rode bicycles on the Boardwalk and went to Sugar at the Pier Shops. Kelsey and Sean love the candy store with all of the fun candy.
